On-model reshoot
Upload a photo of a model wearing your product; the garment and pose stay, the model and optionally the background change.

What it does and when to use it
If you have a photo of the product worn by a model, this mode replaces the person in the photo with a model you pick from the catalogue. The garment’s colour, pattern and cut are kept; the pose and framing come from the photo, so there is no pose step. The original person does not appear in the result, only the model you chose.
- Reusing old campaign and catalogue photos with new faces.
- Presenting the same product to different markets with different models.
- Moving a studio shot to a new location.
Step by step
Step 1: Open the mode
On the Create screen choose the On-model reshoot card.
Step 2: Upload the photo
Drag the image onto Upload an on-model photo to begin or press Select photo. Then pick the product type under Category: Tops, Bottoms, Dresses, Outerwear, Swimwear, Footwear or Accessories. You can also pick a product you uploaded earlier from Previously uploaded.
Step 3: Pick models
In the Models step select up to 4 models. Each model produces one photo. If your brand kit has a saved style, apply it in one click from Saved style.
Step 4: Set the background
In the Backgrounds step Keep the original background is selected by default. To change the scene, pick a studio, indoor or outdoor backdrop.
Step 5: Check the summary and generate
The Summary shows a calculation such as 1 images × 3 models = 3 photos and the Total: … credits. Press Generate and the project page opens.
Tips for good results
- Shots with a clear face, or headless shots (face out of frame), give the best results.
- Use full-body or mid-length framing and a natural, dynamic stance.
- Avoid hair, masks or glasses covering the face, and hands or bags covering the garment.
- Group photos, flat-lay photos and poorly lit frames are not suitable for this mode.
Credits and time
At default prices each photo costs 1 credit. A premium model adds +1, a brand-exclusive model +2 and an indoor or outdoor background +1; keeping the original background costs nothing extra. In this mode the ratio is fixed at 3:4 and the resolution at standard. The exact amount is shown on the Summary screen before you generate. Credits are held when the generation starts; the credit for any photo that cannot be produced or fails the quality check is refunded automatically.
Common problems
Can I keep my own model from the photo?
Not in this mode: the person in the photo is always replaced by a catalogue model. To keep your own model, use Use the model in the photo on the Editorial photo screen, or Person in the photo in the Short video flow.
Why can’t I see child models?
Child models can only be used in Flat lay to on model and Mannequin to on model. Pick an adult model in this mode.
I get “You don’t have enough credits.”
The summary shows the required and available credits (“This run needs … credits and you have ….”). Buy credits from the Add credits link or reduce the number of models.
The garment looks wrong in the result.
Frames that fail the quality check are rejected and their credits refunded. If you see a problem in a delivered photo, press Report a problem on the project page: Reporting a problem with a photo.
