Choosing models, poses and backgrounds
Filtering models in the catalogue, favourites, child models, pose groups and background options, and what costs extra credits.
Choosing models
The Models step shows the ready-made models in the catalogue. Photo modes allow up to 4 models and short video allows 1; your picks are listed under Selected models.
- Switch between the Women, Men and (in the flat-lay and mannequin modes) Children tabs.
- Narrow down with Filters by Hair color, Age and Ethnicity; Clear filters removes them all.
- Hover a card and click the heart to add a favourite; the Favorites tab shows only those.
- Use Preview to look at the model’s images in a large view.
- Models have tiers: Standard, Premium and Exclusive. Premium and exclusive models cost extra credits and are not available on every plan.
Choosing poses
The pose step only exists in Flat lay to on model and Mannequin to on model; in other modes the pose comes from the source photo or the scene. The cards are the real images of your chosen model in each pose, and the model is generated in exactly that pose.
- Select up to 4 poses. Poses are grouped into Full body, Upper body and Lower body.
- Pick recommended poses ticks the poses recommended for your product category in one click.
- Poses that don’t suit your product category may be hidden; premium poses cost extra credits.
- Women’s and men’s poses are separate pools. If you pick models of both genders you see “Mixed gender selection: no shared poses”; use Back to mannequin selection to keep a single gender.
Choosing a background

Backdrops are grouped into Studio, Indoor, Outdoor and Other. Pick recommended background suggests a backdrop that suits your product. At default prices indoor and outdoor backdrops add +1 credit per photo; studio backdrops and the original background cost nothing extra.
Common problems
A model card says “Image is being prepared”.
This model’s images are still being prepared. Pick another model or check again later.
“You don’t have access to this mannequin.” error.
The model is on a tier your plan doesn’t cover (e.g. premium, or exclusive to another brand). Pick a standard model or upgrade your plan.
The pose list looks empty.
The selected model may have no approved pose images for this category, or filters may be hiding the poses. Reset the filters or pick another model whose pose images are ready.
