Bulk generation with Excel
Upload your product list as Excel or CSV, pick catalogue models and poses, and generate new images for hundreds of products in one job.
What it does
Bulk Generation generates the products in a Ticimax, Trendyol, ikas or your own spreadsheet in one go, using our catalogue models. A product code and image URLs on each row are enough. When the job is done, you download the same spreadsheet with its image URLs replaced by the new ones.
| Method | Where the pose comes from | How many images you get |
|---|---|---|
| Catalogue poses | The catalogue poses you pick per category | As many as the product’s usable images, at most the number of poses you picked |
| Swap the model | From the spreadsheet photo; the person is replaced with a catalogue model, while garment, camera direction and scene are kept | One new image for every photo that shows a person |
Step by step
Step 1: Open a new job
Go to Bulk Generation in the left menu and press New bulk generation. The Bulk generation (Excel) card on the Create screen takes you there too. The steps are File › Check › Method › Models and poses.
Step 2: Upload the file
Drop your .xlsx or .csv file on Drag your Excel or CSV file here (up to 20 MB). How to prepare the file: The bulk generation Excel template.
Step 3: Check the products and columns
Check the Products, Images, Merged variant rows and Rows without images (skipped) counters and the Automatically detected columns list. If something is wrong, press Edit columns. Look through the images in the Product preview table and press Continue.
Step 4: Choose the method
Choose Catalogue poses or Swap the model and give a Job name.
Step 5: Choose models
Under Models choose as many models as you like from the Female / Male tabs. Products are distributed in turn among the models matching the audience in the product name; all images of a product use the same model. Premium models marked Not in your plan cannot be selected.
Step 6: Choose poses (Catalogue poses)
Under Poses pick up to 6 poses in order for each category (Tops, Bottoms, Outerwear, Dresses / one-piece); pose 1 becomes the cover image in the spreadsheet. For products whose category isn’t clear from the name, choose a default category or Skip.
Step 7: Adjust the settings
Under Settings choose the Background (Studio (default), Original background or a backdrop from the list), the Aspect ratio (Automatic (same as spreadsheet images), 2:3, 3:4, 4:5, 1:1, 9:16) and the Resolution your plan allows (Standard, 2K, 4K).
Step 8: Check the summary and start
The Summary and start line shows the number of products, the maximum number of new images and the maximum credits. Press Start processing; the job page opens.
Credits and time
- Each new image is charged at photo rates: Catalogue poses at the flat-lay price, Swap the model at the on-model reshoot price. Premium models, 2K/4K and indoor/outdoor backgrounds add credits.
- The summary numbers are upper limits: images such as size charts, photos without a person or back poses for products without a back image drop out later.
- Credits are reserved per product when its generation starts; the credits of failed images are refunded.
- The job starts even if your balance doesn’t cover all of it; it pauses when credits run out and continues where it stopped once you add credits and press Resume.
- Images are downloaded in groups of 10 and generation starts as soon as the first products arrive. Allow about 30–60 seconds per image; jobs with thousands of images can take hours. Bulk jobs queue behind single generations. You can close the page.
Tips and limits
- A job generates at most 2000 products; split larger lists and upload them separately.
- There are no kids’ models in bulk generation. You get a warning for products that look like kids’ products, and they are generated on the adult models you chose. For kids’ products use Flat lay to on model.
- If you choose both female and male models, you need to pick poses for each gender separately in every category.
- With catalogue poses, poses match by view, not by spreadsheet order: a product with a back image gets the back pose, a product without one skips it.
- To follow progress and results: Tracking a bulk job and downloading the spreadsheet.
